How much sideroom is required to mount the RDO1?

The distance between the edge of the door curtain and the inside of the bracket must be at least 40mm. However, for easier access it is recommended that at least 95mm is allowed．

What is the maximum door height the RDO1 can open?

Question 5

Why won't the supplied remote program with this opener?

Follow full programming instructions provided in the manual.  The problem is most likely that not all setup steps for the RDO1 have been followed. This must be done for any and all functionality.
Complete Limit setting once again, and ensure that when completed the door performs a full auto-cycle by itself. If this does not occur then the setup has not been completed correctly, please ensure you re-read instructions and carefully follow them fully.
A ‘half-eleven’ will show up on the display once the settings have been entered. If a ‘dash’ is showing, the door will not function.

Why after completing the setup the door will not open or close?

Why is it that only one of the four buttons on the remote will code with the opener?

Only one button per opener can be coded at a time. The other buttons can be utilised for additional Openers, or if the original programmed button is damaged in any way.

Can the RDO be mounted on both left and right of the door?

Yes, see instruction manual page 11, section 4.2 for setting adjustment.

Question 9

Why is it that the door only comes down a small distance, then retracts?"

Accepted Answer

Either travel or safety reverse force settings have not been completed, ensure both have.
• If both steps have been completed, lower the reverse sensitivity by going to ‘9’ on the reverse force adjustment (Instruction manual see page 12), then work back to reach a safe level.

• If problem still exists then door is most likely causing the issue and may need attention from a specialist.

Question 10

Do Roller Doors require the optional weight bar?

While it's not required in most cases, a weight bar that is fitted to the bottom rail of the roller door  provides extra weight to help stabilize the door while closing.  Please contact us for assistance on how to purchase a weight bar.
